LNG New Energy Bulk Carrier
LNG new energy bulk carriers are eco-friendly bulk cargo transport vessels powered primarily by liquefied natural gas (LNG). Equipped with dedicated LNG fuel tanks and gas-powered propulsion systems, they significantly reduce sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides and particulate emissions compared with traditional fuel-oil bulk carriers, serving as core equipment for the low-carbon transformation of the shipping industry.
The vessel's power system mostly adopts dual-fuel engines, which can flexibly switch between LNG and fuel-oil modes, adapting to fuel supply conditions of different routes and featuring both environmental friendliness and operational flexibility.
