To provide a quote without hidden fees, please provide: 1. Product name, 2. Number of cartons, 3. Gross weight and dimensions, 4. Detailed destination (country and postcode), 5. Preferred shipping method, 6. If it contains liquids, magnets, or batteries, 7. Product pictures, and 8. Cargo ready date.
How do you charge for LCL shipments (CBM vs KG)?
In most cases, if the volumetric weight of your cargo is greater than the actual gross weight, we charge by CBM. If the gross weight is higher, we charge by KG.
What is the formula for calculating volumetric weight?
The formula is: L(cm) x W(cm) x H(cm) / 6000. For example, a carton of 48x45x39cm has a volumetric weight of 14.04kg. Note: For Global Express, the divisor is 5000.
Do I need to provide customs clearance info for DDP service?
No, for DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) service, you don't need to provide anything for customs clearance. We handle the clearance under our name and deliver directly to your final destination.
What are the requirements for DAP or PVA services to the UK/EU?
You must have your own VAT and EORI account. For PVA (Postponed VAT Accounting), you must also provide VAT payment records for at least the previous three months.
How do you ensure the lowest rates for multiple fulfillment centers?
We utilize Container Freight Stations (CFS) at major ports like Los Angeles, Houston, and Savannah. By sorting goods at the origin in China and shipping directly to the nearest port of the fulfillment center, we minimize expensive land transportation costs.
